Vikram Vedha starring Hrithik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan, and Radhika Apte, is slated to release in the theatres on 30th September 2022. The first trailer for the highly anticipated thriller drama was released on the 8th of September, 2022. The movie is bringing back Hrithik and Saif together in a Bollywood film after over 20 years. The duo last acted together in the movie Na Tum Jaano Na Hum (2022).

Vikram Vedha (2022) in Hindi was first announced in March 2018 by the director duo Pushkar-Gayathri. Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan were approached for the roles in the film, but they declined due to various reasons. At last, in March 2022, the final casting for the film was done, with Yogita Bihani cast in the role of Chanda.
Hrithik Roshan will be seen flaunting an Awadhi accent in the movie due to Vedha belonging to Kanpur. Saif Ali Khan is playing the uptight cop who is on the hunt for Vedha. Radhika Apte is expected to leave her mark in the film with the significant role of Vikram’s wife.

Vikram Vedha has been delayed quite a few times due to unprecedented events. The shooting for the film was wrapped in June 2022 after almost 10 months of work. The movie featuring Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan will be distributed by PVR Pictures, PEN Murudhar and Home Screen Entertainment. Neeraj Pandey is serving as the creative producer of this Pushkar-Gayathri directorial. Pandey made the decision to join the production despite not favouring the remakes due to Vikram Vedha’s connection to the folktale of Vikramaditya and Betal.
Since Vikram Vedha is releasing on 30th September 2022, you can expect the film to drop on an OTT platform in December 2022. Most Bollywood movies tend to release on the OTT services after about two months of their theatrical release date. The Hindi version of Vikram Vedha is expected to follow the same pattern.
