Uttar Pradesh lockdown is one major decision on the authorities as UP is another one of the heated zones for the coronavirus and comes 5th from the top when checking out the data for coronavirus in regards to the number of cases, number of death and even in recovery rate as well.

Moving on, Yogi Adityanath has now announced that the state will go under the procedure of unlocking once again with a little bit of restriction.

While the whole Uttar Pradesh will reopen with a night curfew from 7 PM in the evening to 7 in the morning along with weekend lockdown, there are 20 districts that will still be under the continuous lockdown state.

    UP

The names of these 20 districts in UP Lockdown are as follows:

    1. Lucknow
    2. Meerut
    3. Saharanpur
    4. Varanasi
    5. Ghaziabad
    6. Gorakhpur
    7. Muzaffarnagar
    8. Bareilly
    9. Gautam Buddha Nagar
    10. Bulandshahr
    11. Jhansi
    12. Prayagraj
    13. Lakhimpur Kheri
    14. Jaunpur
    15. Sonbhadra
    16. Baghpat
    17. Moradabad
    18. Ghazipur
    19. Bijnor
    20. Deoria

Except for the names that you see here, the rest of Uttar Pradesh is going to open up slowly following the procedure of unlocking.

Additionally, this ruling of extended lockdown for these 20 districts is stated in action till June 7th 2021. The new guidelines will be announced after this specified date only.

These 20 districts have been chosen to put under continued lockdown the reason that they all are having 600 active cases. The rest of them are having numbers that are lesser than this set margin. Which means that they have a better chance of recovery and that they are ready to be unlocked.

Now, if you’re wondering that what all would be allowed during the extended lockdown in these 20 districts then here’s your answer. Currently, only delivery of food items and consumer goods is allowed, except that nothing else new would be allowed in these said districts.

For the rest 55 districts, things will come back to their normal state soon but initially, they’ll be slow. We hope that Uttar Pradesh gets back on track soon enough and that this pandemic gets over, once and for all.
