    Instagram is Testing To Add Music in Feed Posts in India, Turkey, and Brazil: How It Works?

    The meta-owned photo sharing and video sharing platform, Instagram, is introducing a music-driven experience for its enthusiastic audience. With this new feature, users will now be able to add music to their feed posts. Moreover, Instagram rolls out this feature in a few parts of the world like India, Turkey, and Brazil.

    Every user must be familiar with adding music to their stories and reel videos. But now the company has broken all the limitations and allows music lovers to flaunt their pictures with suitable music.

    Adding music to the feed posts is similar that how you add music to your Instagram stories and reel videos. Simply, they have to browse their favorite or suitable music from various music clips in the “Trending” or “For You” section or can search for any specific song.

    Once, the music has been selected, now users have to complete the final step by selecting the clip duration and sharing it on their profile feed. It is as simple as what you have been doing in your stories and reels.

    Once you have finished uploading, the name of the music will appear on the header of the post. If a user clicks on it, he/she will directly land on an audio page that shows all the posts that use the same song.

    India has always been an interesting market for Meta-owned Instagram, that’s why it tests new launches in India first. Having such a huge audience from one nation will always draw your attention and you will always treat them first. India was the first market where the company rolled out its Tik-Tok rival Reels on its platform in July 2020.

    Again, in July, the company rolled out another feature called ‘Collab’ in India and the United Kingdom. The specialty of this feature is that it allows creators to collaborate on a post or a Reel. Finally, on October 19, the company did roll out this feature worldwide.

    On September 30, head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri said in an event, “India is one the fastest growing nations in the entertainment business and we can never ignore a nation from where we are getting such a huge audience. India always draws our attention whenever we launch a new feature.”



    Instagram Gives Access to All Users to Share Links in Stories Via Link Stickers

    Director and head of partnerships at Facebook, Manish Chopra says, “We are always interested in investing huge capital for creators in India and expanding entertainment industry to a large extent. Also, we show engagement in bringing new experiences and learning initiatives for our Indian creators.”

    In July, Meta made an announcement regarding its plans to invest $1 billion in creators across the world by the end of 2022.
