Rise and Fall Season 2 is almost here, and Prime Video, Banijay Asia, and After Alliance are gearing up to launch the show on 26 September. This time around, cricketer Virender Sehwag steps in as host, taking over from Ashneer Grover. The show will once again split 15 contestants into rulers and workers.
Along with a few familiar faces from television, this season also brings in names from politics, social media, and the reality TV circuit. Karan Patel, Gautam Gulati, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Swara Bhasker, and several others are all set to feature on Rise and Fall 2.
Meet the 15 contestants of Rise and Fall 2
1. Gautam Gulati
TV actor Gautam Gulati is joining the Rise and Fall 2 lineup. He was recently seen leading a team on Roadies XX. A seasoned reality show performer, Gautam won Bigg Boss 8 back in 2014. On the acting front, he has appeared in shows like Kasamh Se, Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani and Diya Aur Baati Hum, among others.
2. Kaira Anu
Splitsvilla 16 winner Kaira Anu is also stepping into the game as a contestant on Sehwag’s show. A dentist turned actor, Kaira made her reality TV debut on Splitsvilla last year. She has also built a solid presence as a social media influencer, with 585K followers on Instagram.
3. Karan Patel
Known to TV audiences as the “angry young man,” Karan Patel is joining Rise and Fall 2 as well. He entered reality television last year with The 50 and more recently appeared on Bharti Singh’s Indian Game Show. On the acting side, Karan has been part of several popular shows, including Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Kahani Ghar Ghar Kii, Kasautii Zindagi Kay and Kasamh Se.
4. Priyanka Chahar Choudhary
Naagin 7 actress Priyanka Chahar Choudhary rounds out the confirmed names so far. She first found fame with Udaariyaan and later appeared on Bigg Boss 16, finishing as runner-up while earning praise for how she played the game. She was also seen last year as a gang leader on Playground.
5. Shehzad Poonawalla
Politician Shehzad Poonawalla, formerly a spokesperson for the BJP, will also feature on the show. He has an Instagram following of 961K.
6. Swara Bhasker
Actress Swara Bhasker, known for speaking her mind, joins the cast too. She made her TV debut last year with Pati, Patni Aur Panga and has had a long run in films like Ranjhanaa, Tanu Weds Manu and Nil Battey Sannata.
7. Irina Rudakova
Irina Rudakova is another familiar face on the reality circuit, having won Reality Ranis of the Jungle and Bigg Boss Marathi 5. She has now signed on for Rise and Fall Season 2 and has 459K followers on Instagram.
8. Anish Bhagat
Social media influencer Anish Bhagat, known for his content around the LGBTQ community, brings a fanbase of one million to the show. This marks his first appearance in the reality TV space.

9. Sara Gurpal
Punjabi actress Sara Gurpal had a brief run on Bigg Boss 14 in 2020 and went on to finish as runner-up on Reality Rani’s of the Jungle Season 2 in 2025. With Rise and Fall 2, this becomes her third stint in captive reality television.
10. Niharika Tiwari
Model Niharika Tiwari became a well-known name after Splitsvilla 16, largely thanks to her chemistry with Sorab Bedi on the show, which even led to the two of them appearing together in a music video. Before Splitsvilla, she had also been a contestant on MTV Roadies. Niharika currently has 2.2 million followers on Instagram.
11. Siwet Tomar
Reality show regular Siwet Tomar, who has appeared on Roadies, Splitsvilla, and, more recently, The 50, now joins Sehwag’s show. He was once rumoured to be joining Bigg Boss 20 and made headlines last year over his fallout with Prince Narula and speculation about a relationship with Ridhi Dogra.
12. Kajal Raghwani
Bhojpuri actress Kajal Raghwani, reportedly among the highest-paid names in the Bhojpuri film industry, enters Rise and Fall Season 2 with the biggest social media following of any contestant so far. Kajal has 5.9 million Instagram followers.

13. Raj Grover
Social media influencer Raj Grover, known for the comedy reels he makes with his family, is also part of this season. He has 2.5 million followers on Instagram.
14. Manish Kashyap
Content creator and journalist Manish Kashyap, widely known as the “Son of Bihar,” will also appear on Rise and Fall 2. He has 1.1 million followers on Instagram.
15. Tej Pratap Yadav
Former environment minister and Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son, Tej Pratap Yadav made his reality television debut earlier this year with Bhojpuri Bawaal on JioHotstar. Rise and Fall 2 will be his second time in the reality space.
About Rise and Fall 2
The show runs on a “haves and have-nots” format, built around a penthouse and a basement. Rulers get to live it up in the penthouse and hold the decision-making power, while workers have to fight their way up by completing tasks and avoiding eviction. This season adds a new twist.
On day one, contestants choose between golden and silver briefcases, and for the first time, the audience gets a say in deciding who becomes a ruler and who becomes a worker. On the Prime Video app, every contestant carries an assigned value, and viewers pick a value for each one, which then gets added to the overall prize pot once the game kicks off.
Rise and Fall Season 2 will run for 42 episodes in total, streaming on Prime Video every day from Monday to Sunday at noon.
What happened in Rise & Fall Season 1?
Television actor Arjun Bijlani took home the win in the first season. Aarush Bhola finished as first runner-up, and Arbaz Patel came in as second runner-up. Bijlani’s win came with a prize of ₹28.1 lakh.
So Season 2 picks up a format that already has one successful run behind it, only now with a new host steering the game.
