    Did you know Emraan switched his name to Farhan Hashmi before returning to his previous name Emraan? Yes, you understood that correctly! Emraan was raised and educated by a Muslim dad and a Catholic mum and is affectionately known as ‘Emmi’ by his family.

    Emraan Hashmi began his film career in 2002 as an associate director on Vikram Bhatt’s Raaz. It is also remarkable that all of his films’ songs have always been popular, grossing nearly half as much as the films themselves.

Emraan’s uncles are filmmakers Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt, and he is their nephew. As a result, he is siblings with Alia Bhatt, Shaheen, and Pooja Bhatt.
