WhatsApp is reportedly rolling out a new feature that allows users to send voice and video notes to their contacts, aiming to enrich communication on the messaging platform.
The Voice Notes feature lets users send voice messages directly through the chat window, offering a more personal and simplified way to connect, akin to the existing voice note feature.
Additionally, WhatsApp is introducing Video Notes, currently in beta testing for Android version 2.24.14.14. This feature enables users to send brief video messages, enhancing the sharing of moments and information visually.
Users will benefit from the convenience of forwarding video notes to groups and contacts, eliminating the need for repetitive recordings and enhancing message sharing flexibility within the app.
In other updates, WhatsApp has taken significant steps to enforce policies by recently banning over 6.6 million accounts in India. This action aligns with new IT regulations and underscores WhatsApp’s commitment to user safety.
