    Jio Prepaid Plans hike Will Get Expensive from December 1: Check Details

    The rise in both Airtel and Vodafone Idea’s prepaid plans might rankle consumers and disappoint them. Now, Reliance Jio also thought of following the trend and we can witness changes in Reliance Jio’s prepaid plans prices too.

    The new Jio prepaid plans will come into effect from December 1. Although, telecom companies Airtel and Vodafone Jio revised their prepaid plans earlier this week. According to Reliance Jio, the tariff hike is for the sake of sustainability.




    Airtel and Vodafone Idea has announced up to 25% hike in their prepaid plan’s tariffs. Reliance Jio claims that its customers will always be its first priority and its plans will provide the best value in the industry.

    Jio prepaid unlimited plans and data add-on will experience a major impact by an abrupt increase in tariff ranging from 19.6% to 21.3%.  As of September’s data, Jio had 42.48 crores prepaid subscribers that are way ahead of Airtel and Vodafone Jio, even after losing a net 1.90 crores users.

    Starting with one of the Jio prepaid plans, the telecom company upgraded its basic plan from Rs. 75 to Rs. 91. This plan offers a validity of 28 days along with 3GB 4G data for an entire month. Also, consumers will get unlimited voice calling and 50 SMS with this plan.




    Another Jio’s unlimited plan of Rs. 149 hikes to Rs. 179 and offers 1GB daily data. Along with unlimited voice calling and 100 SMS per day. There are other unlimited plans that have experienced hike and these are:

    Jio Unlimited Prepaid Plans prices with 28 Days Validity

    Jio’s unlimited plan is priced at Rs. 129 changes to Rs. 155. It offers 2GB 4G data for one month, along with unlimited voice calls and 300 SMS per month. Also, another unlimited plan is priced at Rs. 199 hikes to Rs. 239 that offers 1.5GB 4G daily data. It also comes with unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day.

    The Rs. 249 prepaid plan changes to Rs. 299 with 2GB 4G daily data, unlimited voice calls, and 100 SMS per day.

    Jio Unlimited Prepaid Plans prices with 56 Days Validity

    Only two plans are available with a validity of 56 days. Both the plans are priced at Rs. 399 and Rs 444. These plans offer 1.5GB and 2GB daily 4G data, along with unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day. These plans will be revised to Rs. 479 and Rs. 533 respectively.

    Jio Unlimited Prepaid Plans prices with 84 Days Validity

    The telecom company offers three prepaid plans with 84 days validity. These plans are priced at Rs. 329, Rs. 555, and Rs. 599 and they hike to Rs. 395, Rs. 666, and Rs. 719. It is common that all these three plans offer unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day, but they differ in data. They offer 6GB data, 1.5GB daily data, and 2GB daily data respectively.

    Other plans like Rs. 1299 will hike to Rs. 1559. This plan offers 336 days validity along with 2GB 4G data and 3600 SMS. Again, another prepaid plan like Rs. 2399 hikes to Rs. 2879 that comes with 365 days validity. Offering 2GB 4G daily data, unlimited voice calls, and 100 SMS per day.




    Consumers will also witness a hike in data add-on prepaid plans. The plans are priced at Rs. 51, Rs. 101, Rs. 251 changes to Rs. 61, Rs. 121, and Rs. 301. These plans offer 6GB, 12GB, and 50GB data respectively.
