In 2022 SonyLiv announced that it would release more than 50 new originals. Also, the OTT platform streams premium sporting events of cricketing, wrestling and soccer. It’s a one-stop destination for your daily dose of entertainment. Today we have listed the SonyLiv originals that will be released in July 2022.
1- Maharani 2
Cast: Huma Qureshi, Sohum Shah, Amit Sial

Synopsis: The second season of the popular political drama will raise the level of tension. The series takes its inspiration from the life of Rabri Devi, the former illiterate CM of Bihar. It showcases how a woman with no educational qualification survived the cut-throat world of politics.
2- Faadu: A Love Story
Cast: Saiyami Kher, Pavail Gulati, Abhilash Thapliyal

Synopsis: The series promises to be a poetic love story of two people with contrasting personalities. Recently, the teaser for the show was released, and it has already generated hype.
3- Rocket Boys 2

Synopsis: Rocket Boys is the true story of India’s space journey. The series follows two scientists who were at the core of the Indian space revolution. It sticks to the facts, and this ultimately became the reason for the show’s huge credibility and success.

4- Dr Arora

Synopsis: Dr Arora is created by the renowned Bollywood director Imtiaz Ali. A teaser for the show was revealed in April 2022. It is supposed to centre on the issue of sexual problems. The show will tackle the Indian taboo with a flare of comedy.

5- Tanaav

Synopsis: Tanaav is based on an Israeli series named Fauda. The show is set in Kashmir in 2017 and will tell the story of a secret unit that collects highly threatening information. The show will have 12 episodes.
