Five years have passed since Nando’s rise to power in the criminal underworld. He’s not in Brazil anymore — he’s been living in Serbia, running his empire from a distance, putting physical miles between himself and the world that shaped him.
Then his daughter Bruninha disappears.
Without warning, without a trace, the teenage girl he has been trying to protect from everything he’s built simply vanishes. And suddenly, all those miles between Nando and Brazil mean nothing. He has no choice but to go back.
Back home, he tries to rebuild family ties with Scheyla — played by Júlia Yamaguchi — and reconnect with Bruninha while continuing to manage his criminal operations remotely with his partner Moicano. The plan, as these plans always are in stories like this, is to keep the two worlds completely separate.

Christian Malheiros returns as Nando — the role that defined his career and built his global following. He’s been playing this character across multiple seasons and several years, which gives his performance a depth that only comes from living with a character for a long time.
Júlia Yamaguchi is back as Scheyla. Duda Pimenta plays the teenage version of Bruninha, Nando’s missing daughter. Henrique Santana joins the cast as Moicano, Nando’s criminal partner who has been running things alongside him.
For longtime fans, two beloved faces return in guest appearances — Bruna Mascarenhas as Rita and Jottapê as Doni. Their presence connects this film back to the heart of the original series and gives it the kind of emotional continuity that fans have been waiting for.
The Team Behind the Film
Nando Between Two Worlds is directed by Johnny Araújo, with a screenplay by Guilherme Quintella, Denis Nielsen, and Léo Todeschini. The film is based on an original idea by KondZilla — the producer and YouTube phenomenon whose work in Brazilian funk and street culture gave Sintonia much of its authentic texture — developed in partnership with Felipe Braga and Guilherme Quintella.
The film is produced by Gullane, with Caio Gullane and Fabiano Gullane producing and several executive producers supporting the project.
At 1 hour and 48 minutes, the runtime is tight enough to stay focused and propulsive without overstaying its welcome.
