Step-By-Step Guide On How You Can Calculate Your JEE Main 2021 Marks

The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) – Main session 3 2021 results will be released on August 6th by the National Testing Agency (NTA). To those awaiting results, you can estimate your scores of JEE Main through the answer key released by the NTA.

Calculate Marks for your JEE Main exam

This exam ended on July 27th, with a final student application number of 7.09 lakh. Something that has never happened before happened this year – the JEE Main exam was held in 4 sessions.

In February 2021, the number of students that scored 100 percentile was 9, and in March, it rose to 13. According to many people’s expectations, the number of students scoring 100 percentile this year might go even higher since most of the students rated the exam pretty easy.

Calculate Your Likely JEE MAIN Marks

If you’re wondering where you can access the answer key from, it’s on NTA’s official website. So head on over and get ready to see an approximate of your marks by doing this:

    1. It is advisable to use a rough sheet of paper to make thorough calculations and make it easier to understand your JEE Main score without a mess.

    2. Once you have your answer key and rough paper side by side, write down the question number and give yourself a total of 4 marks if your answer was correct.

    3. If it was wrong, give yourself a negative marking of one. Remember that even if your answer in the numeric section is incorrect, there is no negative marking. So, mark your incorrect answer in that section with zero.

    4. Do this patiently for every question, and voila! You’ll have the aggregate of your marks right in front of you.

Remember that the calculation marks for the final results are not based on your raw marks. The highest raw marks are given the 100 percentile, and the rest of the percentiles are allocated accordingly in comparison.

    Good luck!
