The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta has activated the link for the CAT 2024 mock test. Candidates can now access the mock tests on the official website at iimcat.ac.in.
These mock tests are designed to help candidates get acquainted with the exam format, practice selecting and saving answers, and submitting responses online. CAT 2024 will be held on November 24.
According to the official notice, “The Mock Test includes selected questions from previous CAT papers to help candidates become familiar with the types of questions typically asked in CAT, including both MCQs and non-MCQs, as well as the exam interface.”
Steps to Take the CAT 2024 Mock Test:
- Visit the official IIM CAT website at iimcat.ac.in.
- On the homepage, click on the IIM CAT mock test link.
- A PDF will open containing the link to the mock test.
- Click on the link to start the mock test.
- After completing the test, click “Submit.”
- Download the result page for future reference.

Details of the Mock Test:
The mock test consists of three sections, with a total duration of 120 minutes. Candidates from the PwD category will receive an additional 13 minutes and 20 seconds per section. Each section is allotted 40 minutes.
The test includes both multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and non-MCQ questions. A “Submit” button will be available for each section, allowing candidates to move to the next section before the time is up. However, in the actual exam, candidates will only be able to proceed to the next section after the full 40 minutes. After submitting all three sections, candidates will see a summary of their answers.
