03 February, 2021: The CBSE Date Sheets for classes 10th and 12th Board Exams were released on 02 February, 2021 at 5 p.m. on the official website of the board – https://www.cbse.gov.in/cbsenew/cbse.html
This news was confirmed by Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal shortly before the official release. The exams are going to take place offline starting from May 04, 2021 to June 10, 2021.
The practical exams for these classes are also set to commence from March 1, 2021 as well. After completion of these board exams, the center plans to announce the results of the students by July 15, 2021 as well.
To aid students in preparing thoroughly for these upcoming exams, CBSE has also released sample question papers on their official website for both the classes.
Alongside providing the entire schedule for the exams to be conducted, this document also features the rules that are to be followed by the candidates appearing for these exams.
Students appealed to the Education Minister through a retweet to allow a considerably longer time interval between exams or to postpone certain exams and interchange scheduled dates. This response was recorded on EM Pokhriyal’s official tweet releasing the CBSE Date Sheet for classes 10 and 12.
His tweet on the social platform read, “Date-sheet of @cbseindia29 board exams of class XII. Wish you good luck!”
The schedule has been made accordingly to avoid crowding of students and staff in any room during any exam. This is being done to ensure that all Covid-19 norms are being considered and followed completely.
Moreover, CBSE has also asked staff who’ve worked the morning shift during the exams to not stay for the afternoon shift as well. This will be done in accordance with the safety protocol. The date sheets were released nearly 3 months in advance to give students ample amount of time to prepare for these exams.
This time period given is to plan their studies and try to overcome any difficulties faced by them to do the same during the Covid-19 pandemic.
