OnePlus has released its new TWS earphone, named as OnePlus Buds Z2 all over the globe. The earbuds are the upgrade to the OnePlus Buds Z, which were originally released this year as the company’s low-cost TWS headphones.
They have Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and larger drivers, as well as a better battery capacity and other capabilities. The OnePlus Buds Z2 is available in two colors: Pearl White and Obsidian Black and it will cost you around $99 (about ₹ 7,600 in India).

The OnePlus Buds Z2 includes 11mm active drivers, which are significantly bigger than the original 10mm drivers in the Z variant. The earbuds also have active noise cancellation, which is regarded as the most significant improvement over the previous model. OnePlus says that the new Buds Z2 can provide noise suppression of up to 40dB.
There is a Transparency Mode that allows people to hear ambient sounds with their audio. The Buds Z2 also includes a Pro Game Mode with latency as low as 94ms. The earphones also have a Cinematic Film Mode. As a result, Mobile Gaming Mode to provide consumers with even more personalization choices.

OnePlus Buds Z2 price, design, and availability
The new Buds Z2 are going to cost/price at $99 (approximately Rs. 7,600). The earphones are available in Pearl White and Obsidian Black colors. In terms of availability, the Pearl White color version of the Buds Z2 is now available in the United States. Whereas, the Obsidian Black color variant is going to launch in early 2022.
In terms of design and looks, the TWS earphones have a 15% smaller base and a lighter structure than the preceding OnePlus Buds Z variant. The earbuds are IP55-rated for dirt and water protection, while the charging case is just IPX4-rated for waterproof.
The earbuds connect through Bluetooth v5.2 and have 3 micro-electromechanical system (MEMS) mics that serve as feedback, feedforward, and beamforming mics.
Battery and Performance
OnePlus says that the earbuds have an overall battery life of up to 38 hrs, along with the charging case. Each earbud has a capacity of 40mAh battery, while the charging case has a 520mAh battery capacity. The charging case integrates OnePlus’ “Flash Charge” innovation. Moreover it is capable of providing 5 hours of playback with only 10 minutes of quick charging.
