    • White Tiger

    Watch the newcomer Adarsh Gourav as Balram Halwai in this Netflix original starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Adapted from the Pulitzer-winning novel, White Tiger also stars Rajkumar Rao in this story which shows the struggles of Balram Halwai as he serves under Ashok and Pinky who’ve returned from America recently. 

    It is a social issue drama where the ambitious driver deals with poverty and fights his way through to become an entrepreneur. 




    • Sightless

    A 2020 psychological thriller film starring Madelaine Petsch, this movie revolves around the life of Ellen, a former violinist who is cared for by Clayton. She slowly starts to adjust to a life without sight under guidance, and soon starts to realise a few oddities in her apartment. 

    Soon, she becomes paranoid and fails to make anyone understand that her past assailant has come back to terrorize her by hiding in plain sight. 

    This thriller movie is available to stream on Netflix this weekend. 




    • One Night in Miami

    A fictional drama about a meeting that took place between boxers Muhammad Ali, Malcolm X, Jim Brown and Sam Cooke in a room at the Hampton House in 1964. 

    It was to celebrate Ali’s victory over Sonny Liston, it is a first feature by Regina King. 

    This movie is available on Amazon Prime Video and is an excellent one-time watch. 

    • Alone 

    This follows the story of a writer trying to find peace and solitude in the countryside. She tries to recover from the tragedy and focuses on finishing her book. 

    Soon, the once welcoming country turns hellish as she realizes that her inner demons aren’t the only ones she has to tackle. 

    This horror-thriller stars Elizabeth Arends, Sara Anne, Albina Katsman among many others and is available on Prime Video. 




    • Isle of Dogs

    A young boy named Atari sets out to find his lost dog amidst a dog flu outbreak, with the help of five other dogs as they encounter multiple obstacles while finding his dog, Spots. 

    A decree that banishes all dogs to be sent to Trash Island, and this unique team of six sets out an amazing journey all on their own. 

    This animated movie will be the perfect end to a weekend filled with more amazing and new releases to celebrate a getaway weekend at home.




    These movies are available for streaming on different platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hotstar Premium, ZEE5 and Sony Liv and will make your weekend an entertaining one.
