Dobaaraa Detailed Review:

Anurag Kashyap is known for coming out with movies that have shaped and set the tone of the Indian film industry for years to come. Kashyap is at the top of his game in Dobaaraa, which is easily the best time-loop Hindi film you would have ever seen. The film ticks all the boxes for being a sci-fi thriller with just enough element of horror and hopes that it keeps you guessing throughout its run. With impeccable direction, the movie keeps flowing without a hitch and error. You will be captivated and immersed in its storytelling that keeps growing more interesting as the narrative progresses.

Dobaaraa Review

There was a lot of pressure on Dobaaraa to be perfect in order to not be labelled as a copy by Indian viewers. Anurag’s fearless direction has embraced the pressure to emerge as one of the finest movies he has ever made. The multi-layered storytelling is a unique and surprising experience for Indian viewers who haven’t expected this sort of plot from any Hindi movie. Dare I say; the movie is actually better than the original film Mirage which served as its inspiration.

Taapsee Pannu is, without a doubt, an actress who keeps shining with every different role. She has delivered quite a mind-blowing performance in films like Game Over, Haseen Dilruba and Shabaash Mithu, and her stellar performance in Dobaaraa is right there with her career bests. She is flawless and makes you wanna root for her throughout the endless journey that will keep you hooked all the time during the viewing of the film.

The movie will challenge your pre-set notions by bringing unexpected twists and turns that will leave you flabbergasted and excited. Dobaaraa may appear to be a complex film to some viewers but aren’t we all bored of simple storylines in Bollywood movies? The movie is a breath of fresh air and brings a much-needed change to the Indian filmmaking scene. This Janmashtami, we recommend you spare about 2 hours for this wonderful movie.
