Jio introduced cheapest prepaid plan in India ever at Rs 1 with 30 days validity. This plan is just launched on My Jio website with 30 days validity. The new Rs 1 Plan comes shortly after Jio introduced SMS benefits for its entry-level prepaid plan priced at Rs 119, which earlier came without SMS benefits.

This Rs 1 plan by Jio is great for customers who just want to continue their recharge plan and don’t want to get their number deactivated . The plan is not available to all customers and there is no confirmation from Jio as to who will get access to new 1 rupee plan from Jio.

Rs 1 Jio Plan Launched in India with 30 Days Validity Feature

This Rs 1 prepaid plan by Jio was first informed by Telecom Talk media agency . Jio stated that customers can find this new recharge plan in My Jio application. After the exhaustion of 100 MB, users will get 64 Kbps of internet browsing speed.

According to the report, if users recharge this 1 Rs Jio plan 10 times, it would give them 1GB of high-speed data for Rs 10 as against the Rs 15 prepaid data voucher which gives 1GB data. So essentially users will save Rs 5 on the plan.

Jio revised its most basic daily data prepaid recharge Jio plan which is priced at Rs 119. When the plan was introduced, it gave 1.5GB of daily data with a validity of 14 days. This plan gives access to unlimited voice calls and Jio apps but did not give any SMS benefits. Jio has now revised the plan benefits to offer 300 SMS with the plan.

Meanwhile, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has launch its My Speed data for the month of November 2021. Jio yet again hold on its first position in terms of download speed with 24.1 megabits per second (Mbps) among the 4G service providers in November with Airtel being 2nd.

Jio users will be able to make recharges through WhatsApp soon. During the Fuel for India event on Wednesday, Akash Ambani, the Director and Head of Strategy and a member of the Executive Committee at Reliance Jio, noted that the recharges on-the-go WhatsApp recharges will bring convenience for consumers. He said. that the JioMart experience using WhatsApp is conversational in nature.

JioMart is planning to roll out widely on WhatsApp along with Jio mobile prepaid recharges like Rs 1 Jio Plan in 2022.
