    Nowadays many types of diseases are occurring due to poor eating habits. These include increasing or decreasing uric acid. Both high and low uric acid in the body are dangerous. This causes many types of problems. Uric acid dissolves in the blood, gets filtered through the kidneys and gets out through urine, but when this process does not happen properly, it starts accumulating in the body and diseases start spreading. Doctors forbid people suffering from uric acid from eating certain things.

    To control uric acid, one should avoid consuming foods rich in purines in the diet. Purine diet increases uric acid rapidly. People who have high uric acid should consume some fiber-rich foods like cherries, apples, pears, strawberries, blueberries, cucumbers, celery, and carrots in their diet. Foods rich in fiber reduce uric acid concentration. Cherries have anti-inflammatory properties which control uric acid.

    What to avoid when uric acid increases

    According to health experts, people generally think that protein should not be eaten when uric acid increases, but this is a misconception. In case of high uric acid, one should not eat protein, but things containing purines, which are amino acids. One should avoid eating things like beer, vodka, whiskey, organ meat. Apart from this, when uric acid increases, things like ice cream, chips, packet food, packaged fruit juice should also be avoided.

    These things can also increase uric acid

    Many things included in the plate of vegetarian people can increase uric acid a lot and can cause problems. In such a situation, one should avoid eating gram dal, rajma, moong as much as possible, because these can increase uric acid a lot.

    What to do to maintain uric acid

    1. Drink at least 2.5 to 3 liters of water daily.

    2. Do exercise for at least half an hour every day.

    3. Stop eating sweet things as much as possible, this will not cause uric acid problem.

    4. Maintain food to live a healthy lifestyle.
