Benefits of kiwi and pineapple are endless, both are healthy fruits that help in restoring energy and keeps the body energized all day. Both of them differ in their nutritional contents like in one cup of sliced kiwi 110 calories, 2 grams of protein and 5.3 grams of fiber are found whereas one cup of pineapple chunks contains 80 calories, 1.1 gram of protein, and 2.2 grams of fiber.

If you are struggling in losing weight, then you should include kiwi more in your diet because it has twice as much protein and fiber as pineapple, but half as much sugar. Both of them help in tenderizing meat as they are rich in enzymes, they have low levels of pesticide residues and both can cause allergic reactions, especially in those people who are allergic to latex.

    Benefits of Kiwi & Pineapple

    Kiwi

    1. Healthy Skin
100 grams of kiwi contains 92.7 mg of Vitamin C and this Vitamin C contributes to the production of collagen, which is a key component in cells and organs throughout the body including the skin.  Vitamins also help in boosting the body’s ability to heal wounds faster.
Kiwi also provides Vitamin E or tocopherol. Vitamin E helps in preventing skin disorders because of its antioxidant properties and its ability to protect the skin from sun damage.

    2. Better Sleep
According to a study published in “The Asia Pacific Journal of Clinic Nutrition” in 2011, eating two kiwi fruits about an hour before you go to sleep may help you get to sleep 12 percent longer and 35 percent faster with fewer disturbances.

    3. Constipation prevention
A study concluded that small intestines are able to retain water in a better and well-conditioned manner if kiwis are consumed regularly. Also, leading to softer stool consistency and greater stool frequency.

    4. During Pregnancy
Kiwi contains folate, which is essential for cell division. It is advised by the doctors to take
additional folate during pregnancy, as it will protect the fetus from neural tube abnormalities during the development stages

    5. Bone Health
Kiwi contains Vitamin K and traces of phosphorus and calcium, all of which contribute to the strengthening of bones. An adequate intake of Vitamin K regularly will help in the prevention of osteoporosis.

    PINEAPPLE

    1. Good for eyes
As a person grows older, the risk of macular degeneration which is a disease also increases with time that affects the eyes. Studies have shown that regular consumption of pineapple will reduce the risk of this disease.

    2. Prevents Hypertension
If you are suffering from hypertension then the best natural way to prevent it is to consume pineapple regularly because it contains high amounts of potassium and lower amounts of sodium that will help in keeping your blood pressure maintained all the time.

    3. Stress Buster
If you are eating pineapple or drinking it regularly then it will keep you healthy as pineapple has serotonin which is a natural stress buster to keep nerves and hormones relaxed.

    4. Natural Energizer
Pineapple contains valine and leucine which are very important substances for the growth and repair of muscle tissues. During the regular workouts, muscles undergo wear and tear every day, and pineapple helps in fastening the repairment of the tissues. Also, it will keep the body hydrated the entire day and provide energy to run all day.
