After it launched in Europe last year, the new Motorola Razr 2020 has been launched in India as well. The launch took place on the night of Mar 15 and has considerably caught a lot of media attention.



Currently, the new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip was the only smartphone in the clamshell design. Being the only competition in the market, Motorola focused on every detail that the user craved and thereby launched its new installment in the smartphone world.

   

But due to the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic, the company didn’t hold an event in-person. Instead, the virtual launch of the smartphone was executed which enthralled the viewers’ expectations.



From verified sources and event releases, we gathered details about the latest device. So here are the specifications and features of the new Motorola Razr 2020.

 

Display

The new Motorola Razr 2020 features a 6.2 inch OLED Full HD Screen housing 21:9 aspect ratio.



When folded, users will get 2.7-inch QV Screen (Quick View) with a 4:3 aspect ratio. Not only this, customers will be able to see all the notifications but along with that.

Also, they can open the phone with a fingerprint reader at the bottom of the screen.

Camera

In the camera department, the smartphone sports two cameras. One is above the Quick View screen, a 16 MP one that can be used to click selfies. This camera will work as a rear camera when unfolded.



It comes with features like EIS, Night Vision mode, and more. You will also find a 5 MP camera on the main screen that can be used as a more traditional selfie camera when you unfold the phone, though it’ll most likely be used for video chat rather than selfies.

While the phone design is sleek and eye-catching, the camera section is quite sporty. In the front, one 5 MP, f/2.0, 1.12um camera is housed which supports HDR video recording at 1080p@30fps.

For the rear, one 16 MP, f/1.7, 1.22um, Dual Pixel PDAF camera which supports TOF 3D, (depth sensor). Additionally, you can capture your high-definition videos in two formats: 2160p@30fps and 1080p@30fps.



Processor and Storage

Offering 128 GB of storage onboard, the device runs on Android 9 Pie. The new Motorola Razr is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset with an Octa-core processor.

Battery

Also, users get a  2,510 mAh battery backup which supports 15 W dash charging. According to the company, the device contains the battery in 2 parts. And as claimed by the Moto, it’ll be sufficiently lasting a user for one full day of use.



The missing Audio Jack

This time, Motorola removed the audio jack from their installment which contained mixed reactions from the audience. Till now, no additional accessories regarding the audio has been coupled in the box by the company. You probably need to have a c-type earphone or a Bluetooth one, to hear music from this very device.

The Motorola Razr 2020 price in India starts at Rs. 1,24,999. The device will be available for bookings on Flipkart from April 2.
