Delhi University first cut-off list is out now and the bar is as high as 100 percent this time. Yes! You heard that right, top colleges in DU are offering their seats to the academic elites only, this time.

It’s not a rare occurrence at DU, but the bar has certainly raised by every college affiliated with DU this time, and that’s why it’s coming in limelight. Out of more than 3,54,003 students who are applying for DU this year, only 70,000 have to be admitted inside.

    Cut Off

The cut-offs are on the higher side because the percentage of students scoring 95+ percent is higher this time and well! DU received 1.5 Lakh more applications than the previous year as well. So, they have to sort out the students quite neatly.

Now, the ever-popular Lady Shri Ram College for Women is among the top tier DU colleges. Which is the reason why a student needs to score 100% aggregate in four subjects to take admission in their BA (H) Economics, BA (H) Political Science, and BA (H) Psychology programs.

Apart from the cut-offs, the subjects that have been gathering everyone’s attention this time are  BA (H) Economics and Political science. They are the most sought after and subjects that require high criteria to enter. Hindu College, which is also a top tier DU college is offering their BA (H) Economics program at 99.25 percent aggregate.

If the seats in these colleges go vacant then the bar will be lower and you’d be granted new admissions.

So, celebrate if you’re in and don’t let sorrow take you over if you don’t, there will be plenty of opportunities for you to succeed.
