Baaghi 4 Starts Strong at the Box Office, Destroys Other Films

Tiger Shroff and Sanjay Dutt’s action-packed film “Baaghi 4” was released in theatres on 5th September. The movie clashed with Vivek Agnihotri’s “The Bengal Files” at the box office. Filled with intense action and violence, Baaghi 4 had a strong start, collecting ₹12 crore on its opening Friday.

However, the release of Baaghi 4 has badly affected other films that were already running successfully in theatres, including War 2, Coolie, and Param Sundari. On 5th September, the box office collections of all three films dropped significantly. Let’s take a quick look at how Baaghi 4 has impacted these major releases.

War 2

Tiger Shroff previously worked with Hrithik Roshan in the blockbuster War, and its sequel, War 2, was released on 14th August 2025. The film had been earning in crores for the first 18 days, but by the 19th day, its collections had already started to decline. After the release of Baaghi 4, the film’s earnings fell sharply.

On its 23rd day, War 2 managed to collect only ₹4 lakh. So far, the movie has earned ₹236.32 crore net in India and ₹359.34 crore worldwide.

Coolie

Rajinikanth’s film Coolie, which earlier clashed with War 2, had performed exceptionally well at the box office. However, after the release of Baaghi 4, its collection has dropped heavily. On the 22nd day, the film collected ₹85 lakh, but on Friday, its earnings dipped to just ₹14 lakh.

Coolie’s net collection in India now stands at ₹284.05 crore, while its worldwide earnings have reached ₹513.22 crore.

Param Sundari

The romantic film Param Sundari, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, was released just eight days ago. However, after Baaghi 4 hit the screens, its performance has also been impacted.

On Friday, the movie managed to collect only ₹1.85 crore. So far, Param Sundari has earned ₹41.6 crore net in India and ₹62.75 crore worldwide.
