DC Studios’ Clayface found some life at the Indian box office on its second Saturday. The horror film collected Rs 43 lakh net on Day 9, almost double Friday’s Rs 23 lakh, taking its India total to Rs 4.65 crore net in nine days.
On Day 10, Sunday, November 1, Clayface is expected to collect around Rs 40 lakh to Rs 45 lakh net in India based on early trends, which would take its India total past Rs 5 crore net. Globally, the film had earned $52.9 million by its first Wednesday.

Clayface closed its first week at Rs 3.99 crore net. The second week started slowly with Rs 23 lakh on Friday as new releases came in, but Saturday’s jump to Rs 43 lakh matched its best weekday figure from the first week. Occupancy on Saturday rose to 24.6%, the highest of its run so far.

The English version continues to bring in almost all of the film’s business, mostly from multiplexes in the big cities. The Hindi dubbed version has added only Rs 11 lakh since Day 5, which shows that the film has not reached audiences beyond the metros.
Clayface Worldwide Box Office
Clayface opened at number one globally with $43 million in its first weekend, more than its reported budget of around $40 million. Its first week in North America ended at $33.6 million, and its worldwide total had reached $52.9 million by Wednesday.
Its second weekend in North America is expected to drop sharply, with projections ranging from about $9.6 million to $12.4 million, a fall of roughly 48% to 60%. The final second weekend figures will be out later today.
What Next for Clayface in India
Clayface should cross Rs 5 crore net in India today, but its run is unlikely to last much longer. Ramayana releases on November 5 and will take away most of the multiplex screens, while Jailer 2 is still holding on to shows in the south. The film’s lifetime India collection is likely to end somewhere around Rs 5.5 crore to Rs 6 crore net.
