Apple finally launched one of its lower segment smartphones, yea! its the new iPhone SE 2. The phone brought life to the original Apple small screen but with the latest specifications on par with the current generation over the mid-range budget.
The new iPhone SE 2 houses a 4.7 inch IPS LCD Retina display with True Tone Color. The phone has the same basic sleek design offered in the iPhone 8 delivering large bezels screen on the top and the bottom.
Also, the device did bring back the Home button with a Touch ID design that has stayed we’ve lost since the last 2 generations of iPhones.
It hosts the aluminum and glass design and is water & dust resistant with an IP67 rating; it can survive underwater up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.
Now, SE 2 comes with the Apple A13 Bionic chip which is known for its great battery life and supreme performance.
Also, SE 2 comes in 3 different storage variants, the 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB respectively.
The processor delivers some new camera features also. There’s a 12-megapixel rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture that supports Smart HDR photography.
This allows multiple photos shot and adding them to one great picture. It has the portrait mode, called the “Monocular Depth-Sensing“, which uses machine learning for detecting depth and face.
The camera has an ‘Image Stabilisation‘ feature to capture a perfect cinematic shot, just like every other iPhone has and should.
Along with this, you can record 4K videos at 60 fps. As for the front, there is a 7-megapixel full HD selfie camera which also supports portrait mode effects. The phone comes in three variants: black, white and Product red.
The new iPhone SE 2 comes with a 5W Lightning connector for charging that could charge your phone to 50 percent in 30 minutes. It could provide an 18W fast charging facility with the right adapter and the phone support Qi wireless charging also.

Like the previous edition, it will miss the headphone jack on the bottom. Instead, buyers will be getting a set of Lightning Headphones in the box. It supports WI-FI 6, Gigabit LTE, dual sim system and Haptic Touch.
Like other iPhones, the phone will come with a free year of Apple TV Plus subscription. The new iPhone SE 2 comes in 3 internal storage vs price variants.
These are 64 GB- $399, 128 GB- $449 and 256 GB- $549 respectively. The phone will available for preorder from April 17 and will start shipping from April 24.
