Adipurush will release in the theatres on 12th January 2022 across India. The movie is expected to be a massive release that will cover thousands of IMAX and 3D screens. The film will simultaneously release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. The mythological film was announced in August 2020 with a promotional poster that features Prabhas as Lord Rama. Adipurush Story
The movie reimagines the story of the Indian religious scripture Ramayana in a new setting. According to the filmmakers, it celebrates the victory of good over evil. The main story of Adipurush will follow Prabhas as Raghava or Lord Rama going against the mighty Lankesh or Ravana to free his wife or lover from the clutches of evil.
The movie is directed by the Tanha Ji fame Om Raut. Cinematography is handled by Karthik Palani, while dialogues are written by Manoj Muntashir. Music is provided by Ajay-Atul in this Hindu mythological film. The film is a much-awaited drama as it has already created a huge buzz.
