India’s largest telecom company Reliance Jio has finally unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the Jio Phone 3. The phone was speculated to be launched early this year. But due to the situations of lockdown in the country, Reliance Jio suffered a slowdown in their release.
After the successful delivery of their keypad predecessors, the Jio Phone and the Jio Phone 2, Reliance has launched a touch screen smartphone in India. The phone comes with a 5-inch FULL HD bezel thick display and packs a 1.4 GHz processor. The phone has 2GB of RAM and comes with 64 GB internal storage.

Display and Design
Despite the previous Jio Phone edition, the Jio Phone 3 features a touchscreen interface. The phone houses a 5-inch thick bezel screen on the front. On the back, there is a full plastic case that gives the phone a finished look. The phone sports a Full HD display with a 720×1280 pixel resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio.
Processor
The Jio Phone 3 is a major upgrade to the previous installments in the Jio Phone series. While looking at the processor, the Jio Phone 3 comes with a 1.4 GHz Quad-Core processor. The new phone has 2GB of RAM and 64GB internet storage which is quite good at this price tag.
Additionally, if a user wants, they can increase the internal space as the phone features a microSD card slot for storage expansion. The phone will run on the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system and is upgradable to Android 9 and further versions.
Camera
Reliance did increase the specifications in the camera department. The new handset offers a 5 megapixels rear camera setup. On the front, the phone packs a 2 megapixels camera which allows modest picture quality.
Battery, Connectivity, And Software
The new reliance phone has a 2,800 mAh battery life. It works on the latest dual nano sim chipset and offers Jio 4G VoLTE network connection for high-speed internet usage. Some other essential features will include Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth, good surround speaker, and A-GPS (Assisted GPS).

Jio Phone 3 Price and Availability
The Jio Phone 3 comes in black color and will be priced at Rs 4,500 for the Indian market. Though it was set to launch in February 2020, after a few months of delay the phone is ready to be launched in the market now. An official date is yet to be announced by the company.
