Patanjali on Tuesday launched their first-ever COVID-19 vaccine ‘Patanjali Coronil Kit’ in the country. Introduced with the name “Coronil” and “Swasari”, the two vaccines are said to have shown 100 percent favorable results during clinical trials on Coronavirus patients at the Patanjali Yogpeeth, Haridwar.
During the launch, Acharya Balkrishna, the managing director of Patanjali highlighted the fact that their vaccine is stable and can cure COVID-19 patients within a period of 3-14 days. As per the latest reports from the inside, the company aims to bring down the mortality rate in the country.
“After taking our medicine (Coronil kit) COVID patients recovered in 3-14 days and then tested negative. So, we can say the cure for COVID is possible through Ayurveda. We are performing controlled clinical trials only. In the next 4-5 days, evidence and data will be released by us,” Balkrishna said.
Coronil Clinical Test
“100% recovery from coronavirus infection with Patanjali Ayurvedic medicines,” company claims. Patanjali MD Balkrishna, who is currently leading the production of the vaccine, has assured that such medicines are made from natural minerals herbs and leave no side effects.
According to the company, many kinds of research have been undergone for the preparation of the vaccine. The company started testing and trials on mice and rats since December last year. And after seeing such a large increase in the pandemic growth, the company initiated the trials on humans.

“We conducted a clinical case study and clinical controlled trial, and found 69% patients recovered in 3 days & 100% patients recovered in 7 days,” Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev said. He also highlighted the fact that patients in severe conditions including those on ventilators are yet to be tested.
Patanjali Coronil Kit Pricing
Coronil Kit is known to be tested by the company in joint research by Patanjali Research Institute, National Institute of Medical Science, Jaipur. Around 500 scientists have come aboard on the testing panel from all over the country to test the potential dose.
The Patanjali Coronil Kit ayurvedic medicine to cure COVID-19 is priced at Rs 545. The kit is packed for 30 days and will be made available at all Patanjali stores in a week. To order the vaccine kit, an e-commerce app named ‘Order Me’ has been developed to exercise a home delivery service.

The Ministry of AYUSH in coordination with the Indian government has nodded off against the herbal medicinal company. The fact that Patanjali could distribute a COVID-19 vaccine is to be checked off before it is made available to the general population.
Soon after the launch, the Indian organization has asked the brand to acquire and submit the details regarding the sample size, sites, hospitals where research study was conducted, and ethics panel clearance and provide them at the earliest.
“Facts of the claim and details of the stated scientific study are not known to the Ministry and complete details of the supposed medicines have been sought,” AYUSH said on Tuesday. Till now, no further information has been revealed upon the stoppage in the vaccine production/distribution.
