    Top 10 New Shows and Movies Binge-Worthy this Holiday Season

    December is the official holiday season of the year. With festivities around the corner but not with OTT platforms. They started their treat from the beginning of the month with shows and movies worth binge-watching. Along with December patent Christmas movies, OTT’s has also added shows and movies full of humor and tears to make your holiday season just a perfect blend of all emotions.




    1. Sound Of Metal (Amazon Prime)
      It’s a perfect combination of a good story and an amazing actor. Riz Ahmad who played a drummer of a heavy metal-band started losing his hearing at the onset of his success.

      1. Coolie No. 1 (Amazon Prime)
        Starring Sara Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan is the remake of the 90’s classic that is with the same name. It’s a perfect holiday watch where comedy-meets drama- meets romance. Directed by David Dhawan.



      2. Mulan (Disney +Hotstar)
        A girl disguises as a male warrior and joins the imperial army to prevent her sick father from being forced to enlist as he has no male heir. This film is produced by Walt Disney Pictures. It is a live-action adaptation of Disney’s 1998 animated film of the same name, itself based on the Chinese folklore story, “The Ballad of Mulan”.
      3. The Midnight Sky (Netflix)




        Starring George Clooney, it is a post-apocalyptic drama adapted from Lily Brooks-Dalton’s acclaimed novel Good Morning. Earth has become inhabitable but the group of scientists is planning to come back to their home to know if Earth is healthy or not and George Clooney’s task is to stop them from coming.
      4. Sweet Home (Netflix)
        It is based on the Line Webtoon of the same name by Kim Kan-bi and Hwang Young-chan It is a 10 part series where we dwell deeper between the question “Monster & Humans” Who is what or maybe we already have a monster inside waiting to be unleashed.ALSO READ: Top 10 new shows and movies on Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hotstar to watch this week
      5. Sylvia love (Amazon Prime)




        Itis an American romance-drama flick, written and directed by Eugene Ashe, set in the 1950s. It’s old school frames will follow Sylvie (played by Tessa Thompson) and Robert’s (played by Nnamdi Asomugha), a saxophonist who takes a summer job at her father’s record store, a torrid summer affair that makes them choose a completely different path for themselves — only to reunite years later.
      6. AK & AK (Netflix)
        It starring Anil Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap. AK vs AK is a thriller set amidst the background of a film world. The plot revolves around the eccentric tale of how a director (Kashyap) kidnaps the daughter of a movie star and films the star’s (Kapoor) desperate search for his daughter in real-time as his next blockbuster.
      7. Torbaaz (Netflix)
        It is an action thriller film directed by Girish Malik. Sanjay Dutt plays the role of a medical professional that lost his wife and son while he was placed in the Indian Embassy in Kabul.
      8. Durgamati (Amazon Prime)
        Starring Bhumi Pandekar as a bureaucrat who is imprisoned in a haunted house for interrogation. However, things take an unexpected turn when she gets possessed by a spirit.




    1. I’m your woman (Amazon Prime)
      A woman is forced to go on the run with her baby after her husband betrays his partners in crime. It stars Rachel Brosnahan, Arinzé Kene, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Bill Heck, Frankie Faison, Marceline Hugot, and James McMenamin.
