Coronavirus has upturned the whole world and we’ve seen everything from mass deaths of individual globally, economy crashes, ultimately long lockdowns to whatnot? But when we look at the prevention they as simple as washing hands, carrying sanitizers, and wearing a face mask, nothing more.




And now, according to research done on 276 patients hospitalized with COVID-19 in Suizhou, China. It is concluded that individuals wearing any kind of eyewear on social occasions have fewer chances of contracting COVID-19.

So, if you have glasses due to your impaired vision, or those blue cut lenses to protect your eyes against blue screens, or even like to rock a pair of good looking sunglasses. Then you might have fewer chances of contracting COVID-19.




The reason is simple and can be understood even without any explanation. Yes! The eye-wear acts as a shield for your eyes which is also an entry route for the coronavirus to enter your body.

They protect you from direct contact as the disease is airborne and from indirect ways also. It is expected that any individual would be touching or rubbing their eyes for at least 10 times a day. And a protective shield might protect them from doing so, as a result, saving them from a potential risk to their infection.

And at this point when the medication is not yet ready to fight against the condition. All we can do is safeguard not only ourselves but for others by taking these precautions as well. This is why if you get one more method for safeguarding then it serves as a good thing.




So, if you have any kind of glasses which are present in your homes, you might consider wearing them in social situations. They might also make you look good because Well! you can only accessories up to a point while having a mask on your faces right?
