Several recruitment exams, university-level exams, state-level board exams, and entrance exams have either been canceled or postponed due to COVID-19.
Due to this, school, universities, colleges, and the overall education system has been affected greatly due to the situation. Recently, following CBSE’s footsteps, ICSE’s remaining exams have been canceled.
Here is a list of exams that are either canceled or have been postponed:
National Level Exams
Postponed: BITSAT 2020, NATA 2020, CLAT 2020, NCHM JEE 2020, AIAPGET 2020, MAT 2020, ATMA 2020.
CLAT 2020 was originally scheduled to occur on May 10. Additionally, NCHM JEE and AIAPGET were scheduled to be conducted on April 25 and May 29, respectively.
MCC has postponed the entire process of reporting to colleges for gaining admission. The 2nd round of counseling and the ‘mop-up’ round of counseling has been withdrawn for now.
NEET PG 2020 counseling has, unfortunately, been postponed because of the coronavirus outbreak. MAT 2020 is now being held in IBT mode ever since June 19. This process will go on till July 5.
ATMA 2020 was originally supposed to be held on July 1.
State-Level Entrance Exams/ Admission Tests
Postponed: Bihar BEd CET 2020 Exam, GUJCET 2020, MAH MCA 2020, Bihar D.El.Ed Joint Entrance Exam 2020, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), OJEE 2020 exam, AMU entrance exams.
DAVV UG entrance exams, MHT CET 2020, CUSAT CAT 2020, UP B.Ed JEE 2020, TMRJC CET 2020, JEECUP 2020 Exam, MHT CET Law 2020, VITEEE 2020, Allahabad University PG Admission, EFLU Entrance Test 2020.
IPMAT 2020, Kerala SET 2020, AP EAMCET 2020, AP ECET 2020, Maharashtra B.Ed, M.Ed, B.PEd, M.PEd Exams, Telangana Entrance Exams 2020, Andhra Pradesh Entrance Exams 2020, APRJC CET 2020, APRDC CET 2020.
The new dates for OJEE 2020 exams have not been posted yet. On the other hand, the new dates for GUJCET 2020 and Allahabad University PG Admission are July 30 and July 16, respectively.
JEECUP has been postponed to July 19 and 25. VITEEE’s new exam dates are July 29-August 2.
EFLU Entrance Test 2020 and IIPMAT 2020 were originally scheduled to be conducted on April 12 and April 30, respectively. The Telangana Entrance Exams 2020 has been postponed to July 13.
The AP EAMCET 2020 exams are going to be held from July 27-31.
Recruitment Exams/ Eligibility Tests
Postponed: ITBP Recruitment Exam, Kerala PSC Recruitment Exam, RBI Assistant Main Exam, SSC CHSL 2019 exam and the Junior Engineer Engineer exam, Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC).
Recruitment Exam, Delhi Higher Judicial Services Main 2019 Exam, TNPSC Group 1 Exam 2020, APPSC Group 1 Mains Exam, Karnataka TET, KEAM 2020, KCET 2020.
The KEAM exam will be conducted on July 16 whereas KCET 2020 will be held on July 30 and 31.
