The box office collection of Thunivu is expected to be somewhere around Rs 150 Crore. We expect the movie to recover its cost in its run at the theatres, but we do not see Thunivu making a huge profit at the box office.
To recover the budget of Rs 140 Crore, Thunivu needs to have a very good opening at the box office. The film needs to earn at least Rs 40 Crore in the first three days of its release to achieve the figure of Rs 150 Crore at the box office. Thunivu is going to clash at the box office with Thalapathy Vijay’s Varisu.
Thunivu’s shooting was completed in Hyderabad and Bangalore, and the movie is all set to release in the theatres on the occasion of Pongal on 12th January 2023.
