Taaza Khabar Review

The six-episode series has a clear vision and delivers without veering off course. It creates a relatable world of underdogs, each with their struggles and dreams, and shows how their lives change as time passes.

Bhuvan Bam‘s performance is exceptional. He gets under the character’s skin and delivers with conviction. His journey is divided into two distinct halves: the underconfident and scared Vasant, who believes he is ‘God,’ and the confident and fearless Vasant.

Bhuvan has done an excellent job portraying both sides of the character, and the transition is very subtle. It blends in with the narrative, making his performance stand out. Shriya Pilgaonkar as Madhu, Deven Bhojani as Mehboob Bhai, and Prathamesh Parab as Peter are all excellent and form a quirky and promising ensemble with Bhuvan.

The cinematography and music play an essential role in making the world of Taaza Khabar seem real. The brilliance lies in fusing fantasy with the reality of these low-life city dwellers with big dreams. Taaza Khabar is nothing more or less than what you’d expect. It moves along nicely and finishes before running out of steam. It will be entertaining to watch this weekend.
