    • 1/4 pint of sterile water
    • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
    • 1/4 tsp of baking soda

    While you can use your hands to cup the solution and inhale through your nose, one at a time, you can also make use of a DIY or old spray bottles at home and spray the solution into your nostrils by smoothly inserting the nozzle into your nose. Keep repeating the process two-three times a day to see immediate results.

    Boil some water in a huge pot, bring it to table and lean directly above the pot and cover your head with a blanket or towel. Make sure to inhale the steam well and not let it evaporate outside.

Especially in the case of sinus, keeping yourself hydrated helps in maintaining the moistness of the Mucous membrane in the sinuses and support it to function properly.     • with the linked hand, apply little pressure and cradle the region (back of your head) where your neck meets the skull.

    • breathe in and out deeply, relax and do this 4-5 secs at a time.

    Neti pots are now increasingly taken up by all those who want relief from the incessant headache of sinus pressure. People generally use neti pot to rinse off their nose and keep the mucous membrane moist. The device sports the shape of an actual pot with a long spout.

    Here is how you can use a neti pot:

    • wash your hands and fill the pot with clear water
    • Now, tilt your head sideways while leaning onto a sink directly.
    • Gently insert the spout into the highest nostril and breathe through your mouth
    • Finally, pour water into your nostril and you are done.

    Clear sterile water is essential here as tap water will not do the job. Alternatively, you can also boil water and let it cool.
