Saudi Arabia has introduced a new educational visa issuance service aimed at international students seeking to pursue studies in the Middle East nation. The “Study in Saudi Arabia” visa program was unveiled during the Human Capacity Initiative conference in Riyadh on February 29, a collaborative effort between Saudi’s Ministry of Education (MoE) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA).
This initiative streamlines the application process for international students, offering access to a wide range of educational opportunities through the dedicated “Study in Saudi Arabia” platform. From short courses to comprehensive academic programs, the platform caters to various academic interests and career aspirations.
By fostering collaboration in academia and culture, the program aligns with Saudi Arabia’s commitment to advancing its education sector and attracting skilled individuals, in line with the objectives outlined in Saudi Vision 2030.

Saudi Arabia has emerged as the fifth most sought-after destination for Indian students, owing to attractive scholarship offers and financial aid for international students. Data from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) reveals that over 1.3 million Indian students pursued higher studies abroad from 2017 to 2022.
