Samsung Launching Galaxy S21 Series in January 2021: Everything You Should Know

Date:

Samsung is ready to step in 2021 by launching its Galaxy S21 lineup of smartphones in January. Three smartphones will be launched under the Galaxy series: Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra. There have been a lot of reports regarding the launch of these models, about their designs, new features, etc., and we have summed up all the necessary leaked information only for you.

Specifications

The standard size of the screens of these upcoming smartphone models will be 6.2 inches for S21, 6.7 inches for S21 Plus, and 6.8 inches for S21 Ultra. All of these smartphones will have Dynamic AMOLED 2X, HDR10+, and will support a 120Hz refresh rate. All the S21 smartphones will consist of Exynos 2100 – Global Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 chipset in selected countries like the United States as confirmed through the leaks.

The three models will mainly differ in battery capacity, that is, S21 will have a 4,000mAh battery, S21 Plus will have a 4,800mAh battery, and S21 Ultra will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery. The most interesting fact for the design lovers is that S21 Ultra will have a slightly curved display at the edges and S21 and S21 Plus will have a flat display.

S21 and S21 Plus are said to have a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, paired with a 12MP wide-angle lens, and a 64MP telephoto lens. The reports say that the LED flash will be on the right side of the array. The S21 Ultra is said to have a quad-camera setup at the back, consisting of a 108MP primary sensor, paired with a 12MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and two 10MP telephoto lenses. It is also being said that the users will get the 100X space zoom feature too.

Price & Availability

The reports say that the Galaxy S21 would be manufactured in different variants like pink, violet, grey, and white. Whereas, the Plus model will be launched in silver, black, and violet. And, the Ultra model will be made in silver and black color.

It is expected that the new Galaxy S21 to be priced at $899 approx. (approximately Rs. 66,400/-), whereas the Galaxy S21 Plus is expected to be priced at $1099 approx. (approximately Rs. 81,200/-) and the Galaxy S21 Ultra will start at $1250 approx. (approximately Rs. 92,300/-). If this leak is true then this would mean that the company has slashed the price of the Galaxy S21 by $100 (approximately Rs. 7,300/-) compared to the launching price of the Galaxy S20.
