Directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth and produced by Subaskaran Allirajah under Lyca Productions, Lal Salaam is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language sports drama film. The movie features Rajinikanth in an extended cameo role, with Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth leading the cast. Alongside them, an ensemble supporting cast includes Vignesh, Livingston, Senthil, Jeevitha, K. S. Ravikumar, and Thambi Ramaiah.
Announced in November 2022, Lal Salaam began principal photography in March 2023 and concluded in August 2023. The film boasts music by A. R. Rahman, cinematography by Vishnu Rangasamy, and editing by B. Pravin Baaskar.
Scheduled for a theatrical release on 9 February 2024, Lal Salaam is highly anticipated by fans and critics alike.
