The teaser of Janhvi Kapoor starrer Mili was released on 12th October 2022. The film is a survival thriller which will release in the theatres on 4th November 2022. The movie is inspired by the Malayalam film Helen (2009). Interestingly Mili is being directed by Mathukutty Xavier the man who also directed the original Malayalam thriller.
Janhvi Kapoor’s Mili Teaser
Janhvi Kapoor shared a poster of the upcoming survival thriller on her Instagram. She captioned the post, “Experience her fight for courage, with every hour that passes, every degree that drops – ONLY IN THEATRES ON THE 4TH OF NOVEMBER ❄️.”
Mili is supposedly based on the story of a girl who accidentally gets trapped in a hotel freezer. She fights to stay alive in that situation while her father and boyfriend worry about her safety. Janhvi Kapoor will essay the titular role while Manoj Pahwa, Sunny Kaushal, Hasleen Kaur, Rajesh Jais, Vikram Kochhar, Anurag Arora and Sanjay Suri also feature in the film.
The music for the film is provided by AR Rahman while lyrics for the songs are written by Javed Akhtar. It is produced by ZEE Studios and Boney Kapoor. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on 4th November 2022.
