Follow These Simple Steps to Check Aadhaar Usage:
- First, go to the official UIDAI website: https://uidai.gov.in
- Click on the “My Aadhaar” option.
- From the options shown, click on “Aadhaar Authentication History”.
- Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number and the CAPTCHA code.
- Enter the One Time Password (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number.
- You will see your Aadhaar usage history — when and where your Aadhaar card was used.
If you notice any suspicious activity or entries that you don’t recognize, be alert immediately.

How to Lock or Unlock Your Aadhaar
Go to the “My Aadhaar” section and tap on “Aadhaar Services”. Here, select the “Lock/Unlock Biometrics” option. You can also download a masked Aadhaar, which hides part of your Aadhaar number for security. The government has also launched a new Aadhaar app for safe ID verification.
