    In this monsoon season, people are very much vulnerable to innocent diseases. Especially, many people are affected by the problem of cold and cough. In such a situation, to strengthen your immune system, drink milk every night before going to bed. If you add a pinch of turmeric to milk and drink it, then your health will benefit manifold. Actually turmeric is a spice which is considered to be full of Ayurvedic properties. While antiseptic and anti-biotic properties are found in turmeric, calcium is found in large quantities in milk. When both of these are mixed and consumed together, it has many health benefits.

    1. Immunity will be strengthened

    Consuming turmeric milk before sleeping at night can help in strengthening immunity. Curcumin present in turmeric milk works as an immunomodulatory agent, which protects the body from many diseases can help prevent diseases and increase immunity.

    2. Protection from infection

    The incidence of infections rises markedly during the cold season. Turmeric milk, known for its antimicrobial properties, is regarded as an effective means to combat bacterial infections. To mitigate the risk of infection, it is advisable to include turmeric milk into your diet.

    3. Cold and cough away

    Cold and cough are a common problem in the monsoon season. To get rid of the problem of cold and cough, you can add turmeric to lukewarm milk and drink it at night. This can help in keeping the body warm from inside.

    How to prepare special turmeric milk?

    1. Heat a glass of milk.
    2. When the milk starts boiling, add a pinch of turmeric to it.
    3. After this, filter it in a cup.
    4. Now add jaggery or sugar to it for taste.
    5. Drink it lukewarm before sleeping.
    6. If you have diabetes, joint pain or heart related problems, then add a pinch of nutmeg to it.
