    Everyone likes to go to such places in summer days. Where they can enjoy the best and feel cool in summer days. The peace that is found in the mountains during summer days is difficult to find anywhere else. The kind of heat that is being seen at the moment. It is clear from that that now peace is going to be found only by going to the beautiful hilly valleys. Whenever it comes to visiting the mountains, people remember Himachal and Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand is known not only in the country but all over the world because of its beautiful places.

    Chopta Tungnath Yatra

    If you want to travel to Chopta Tungnath, then you can complete this journey in 4 to 5 days. You can come from any part of the country but you must first reach Haridwar. From here you will have to reach Sari village via Rishikesh, Devprayag and Srinagar. Trekking to Chopta starts from here.

    Chopta

    Tracking to Chopta starts early in the morning from Devriya Tal. This route is charming and full of adventure. It may take you 8 to 10 hours to complete it.

    Tungnath

    If you are going for trekking from Chopta to Tungnath, then it will take you 5 hours. But this journey is so beautiful that you will not even know when you have reached here. Tungnath is the highest Shiva temple in the world.

    When to Go

    Apart from monsoon, you can plan to go here anytime. Summer is the best time to visit here. There is a lot of snow here in winter.

    How to Reach

    Air travel – If you are thinking of coming to Tungnath by flight, then Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun is the nearest airport here. Tungnath is 180 km from here.

    Rail travel – If you are planning to come here by train, then Haridwar and Rishikesh are the nearest railway stations. From where you will easily get a cab for your destination.

    Road travel – If you are coming to Chopta by road, then buses run from Delhi to Haridwar every few minutes. By the way, you can also reach Haridwar by your car.
