What’s The Difference Between Types Of Headaches?

There are only two categories of headaches: Primary and Secondary.

If we’re talking about the primary headaches then you can say that they are the non-serious types and would not cause any such harm.  They occur from stress, anxiety, or any other temporary cause such as stress to the eyes, or sitting in wrong posture.

With a little rest and maybe a pain killer at maximum, they’re easily cured.

Now, if we’re talking about the secondary types then you can easily say that they comes with underlying causes. So, if you have headaches while are going on for more than 15 days or so and are giving no signs of stoppage then it comes with a cause of worry.



Moreover, they can come with underlying causes such as migraines and other chronic illness.

What Are The Symptoms?

The systems for secondary headaches are simple enough but they take time to become visible. But still there are some thing that can hint about something wrong such as:

  1. Lingering pain which seems uncontrollable.
  2. Irritation in other related parts of body such as shoulder and neck in a way which makes that specific body parts numb.
  3. Ailments related to other diseases showing up at the time of you having a headache.
  4. Cloudy eyes, blurry vision and tiredness.

 

When Should You Be Worried?

If you’re having primary symptoms and the headache stays for a short time then there’s no need to worry about that.



But if the conditions are very rigid that you’re having problems in your day to day life and any of the secondary symptoms are there then you should definitely consult the doctor.
