The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has postponed the Chartered Accountant (CA) November 2023 exams in Chattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh due to the upcoming legislative assembly elections in the two states. The CA 2023 exam was previously scheduled to be held on 7th and 17th November in Chattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh respectively. The CA exam will now be held on 19th November 2023.
The ICAI, in its announcement of the exam postponement, confirmed that the CA admit cards issued for the November 7 and November 17 exams would retain their validity. ICAI also clarified that all other dates would remain unchanged, with the exception of the November 7 and November 17 exams.

“In partial modification of the Institutes Important Announcement No. 13-CA (EXAM)/NOVEMBER – DECEMBER/2023 dated 5 July 2023, it is announced for general information that in view of the Legislative Assembly Election in the state or chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh, the chartered Accountant Examinations, November 2023, as per details given below, stands postponed and the said examinations shall now be held on 19th November 2023 (Sunday) at the same venues) and at the same timing(s)”, ICAI said.
“It is clarified that the schedule of examinations notified vide Important Announcement No. 13-CA (EXAM)/NOVEMBER – DECEMBER/2023 dated 5th July 2023 shall remain unchanged except above. In Other words, there will be no change in the schedule of examinations for other States / Cities and Dates,” ICAI further said.
