    ICAI CA Exams 2020 postponed for this state due to elections. Checkout

    ICAI has announced revised CA Exam dates for Bihar candidates and important SOPs to be followed for CA November Exams 2020. The official notice for both the revised schedule and Covid-19 SOPs is available on the official site of ICAI. The guidelines have been issued for exam centers, center superintendents & observers, and also appearing candidates.




    The CA exams 2020 that were earlier scheduled on November 2, 3, 6, and 7, 2020 in Bihar has now been postponed due to legislative assembly elections . The exam would now be conducted on November 19, 21, 23, and 25, 2020 in the state.




    On the other hand, the SOPs released by the Institute also include an additional number of exam centers as compared to previous one. The number of exam centers have been increased from 505 to 915 for the Nov. 2020 examination to cover additional 192 districts of the country to facilitate candidates not to travel beyond their district to the extent possible. Check the major SOPs to be followed by the student appearing for CA Exams.




    1. The seating areas shall be adequately sanitized. All door handles, staircase railing, etc. shall be disinfected. Candidates, if so desired, may further sanitize the seating area with his/her own hand sanitizers; and may also carry face shield, hand gloves, etc. for additional protection as per their choice.
    2. Candidates are allowed to carry few items inside the exam hall that includes face masks, face shield which is optional, hand gloves, personal transparent water bottle, personal hand sanitizer bottle, exam related items/documents like calculators, stationery items, Admit Card, Photo ID card as instructed.
    3. Gap between two students in the seating arrangements should be made.
    4. Digital scanning for temperature check of examination functionaries/candidates shall be done at the entry and hand sanitizers will be available at the entry and inside the exam venue.

    ICAI CA Exams 2020 would begin from November 1 and would end on November 18, 2020. The exam will be conducted in single-shift for all days- from 2 pm to 5 pm. The foundation paper for 3 and 4 will be conducted from 2 pm to 4 pm.
