An Industrial Zone to Be Built Near Noida Expressway, Land of These 4 Villages to Become 'Gold'

The Noida Authority will develop a new industrial zone near the Noida Expressway in Sector 165. The land for this industrial area will be acquired from the villages of Mohiyapur, Gulawali, Dostpur Mangroli, and Nalgadha, covering 25 hectares. The authority will adopt a mutually agreed land acquisition process with farmers to make the procedure smooth and dispute-free.

According to officials, the authority already owns some land in Sector 165, but 90% of the required land is located in Gulawali village. Some of the remaining land is either encroached upon or inhabited. The authority already owns some land in Mohiyapur and Dostpur Mangroli, but no land has been acquired in Nalgadha yet.

Sectors 161 to 166 to Be Developed

Four years ago, the Noida Authority planned to expand the urban area from Sector 161 to 166. DGM (Civil) Vijay Rawal stated that partial land acquisition has been completed in Sector 163 and 166, while no progress has been made in Sector 161. Sector 164 is still densely populated.

Sectors 162, 164, and 165 to Host Industrial Units

The Noida Authority has stated that sectors 162, 164, and 165 will be dedicated to industrial units, while Sector 161 will be developed as an institutional zone. Mixed development is planned for Sectors 163 and 166, with both commercial and residential buildings. The institutional area will include IT/ITES, government agencies, hospitals, and other services.
