The Pebble Qore Vox mixes a screenless fitness band with a voice recorder and AI transcription. It can record up to 100 minutes of audio on its own, supports many Indian languages, and claims up to 10 days of battery. The introductory price is Rs 5,799.
Fitness bands usually do one job: count your steps and watch your sleep. Pebble is trying something a little different. The company has brought the Qore Vox to India, a screenless band that also works as a voice recorder, and that second job could be the reason many people take a closer look.
Record From Your Wrist
The idea is simple. Press the side button twice, and the band starts recording. You can use it for meetings, lectures, or quick personal ideas, all without taking out your phone.
The band can store up to 100 minutes of audio on its own, so your smartphone doesn’t need to stay connected while you record. Later, you sync it with the Pebble Vox app, which turns the recording into text and creates an AI summary. You can then share the transcript or summary through WhatsApp or email.
Support for Indian Languages
Language support is a big plus. The app can transcribe English, seven Indian languages (Hindi, Marathi, Telugu, Kannada, Gujarati, Bengali, and Punjabi), and 24 international languages. For students, reporters, and professionals who switch between languages during the day, that could be genuinely useful.
Pebble also says the transcription and summary features don’t need a subscription or extra processing fees, and there is no stated limit on how many recordings you can process. That is worth noting, since many AI tools charge monthly fees.
Privacy Built In
Recording from a band on your wrist can make some people uneasy, so Pebble has added a few safeguards. Recording only starts when you double-press the button, and a blue light on the outside of the band turns on while audio is being recorded, so people nearby can see it.
Health Tracking Still Included
This is still a fitness band at heart. The Qore Vox tracks heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen, sleep, and stress. It also keeps count of steps, calories, and daily activity.
It adds a Recovery Score and an AI-generated health report based on your recent sleep, activity, and heart rate data. You also get more than 100 sports modes, automatic walking and running detection, and GPS route tracking when the band is paired with your phone. For alerts, it uses vibration and light for calls, messages, and selected app notifications.
Battery and Design
Pebble claims up to 10 days of battery life. The band weighs about 53 grams and comes with an adjustable, stretchable strap. Since it has no screen, it is meant to be a quiet, simple band you wear all day.
Price and Availability in India
The Qore Vox comes in three colours: Stealth Black, Storm Blue, and Summit Brown. The introductory price is Rs 5,799. It is available now through Pebble’s website and retail stores across India, and it will soon be listed on Amazon and Flipkart.
Who Is It For?
If you often take notes, attend long meetings or lectures, or want a quick way to save an idea, this band could save you time. If you only want basic fitness tracking, a simpler band may be cheaper.
Screenless bands are also becoming more popular. We recently looked at how Google launched the Fitbit Air, a screenless fitness tracker that takes on Whoop. And if hands-free tech interests you, you might also like our story on Jio’s AI glasses, which are expected to make UPI payments hands-free.
