    CBSE Board Exams Update: Exams To Be Conducted In Two Terms and Other Details

    The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a national-level board in India, controlled by the Union Government of India. CBSE conducts the final examinations for Class 10 and Class 12 consistently in March and the outcomes are declared before May.

    However, last year Due to the COVID- 19 pandemic, the Central Board Of Secondary Education decided to drop two boards Class 10 and 12 examinations for the year 2020. They announced that the results are to be declared based on class 10 marks, overall performance in class, and a credible internal assessment/practical/project work.



    Recently for 2021 Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Monday reported an exceptional appraisal for Class 10 and 12 board exams for the 2021-22 batch. The schedule for examination 2021-22 will be divided into two terms followed by their schools.

    Schools will likewise mark students by using their academic calendar and inputs from the NCERT on transacting the curriculum. The board exams for 2021 will presently be held in two terms with 50% of the prospectus in each term.

    The first exams will be held in November-December though the second term examination is in March-April. CBSE will shorten the syllabus for classes 10 and 12 for 2021-22; to be informed by July end.

    By any chance, the students are not satisfied with their marks in the examination. CBSE has created a 90-minute MCQ-based exam. It will completely be led toward the finish of Term 2 too.

    All evaluations attempted throughout the year will be retained as proof in digital format, with marks transferred onto CBSE’s IT, said the notice.



    For the education approach, schools will follow the educational program and prospectus delivered by the Board. The students who are not happy with the assessment will be given a chance to take up the Class 12 examination again when the pandemic circumstance becomes less. If the situation is not improved the schools will be shut, and both the first and second term exams must be at home.
