Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, hit theatres on December 5th, drawing massive crowds eager to witness the highly anticipated action thriller. Directed by Sukumar, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. After its theatrical release, the film will be available for streaming on an OTT platform.
In January this year, Netflix revealed a series of exciting releases, including Pushpa 2: The Rule. The streaming giant confirmed it would bring the film to digital audiences following its theatre run.
Sharing the news on social media, Netflix posted the film’s iconic Gangamma Jatara scene poster featuring Allu Arjun. The caption read, “Pushpa is about to come out of hiding and he’s coming to RULE! #Pushpa2: The Rule is coming soon on Netflix in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, as a post-theatrical release!”
According to a report by Aakashavaani, the streaming rights for this much-awaited sequel have been acquired by Netflix for an impressive Rs 270 crore.
