It has been affirmed by a top board official that the CBSE board exams 2021 of class 10th and 12th will be held in February-March as the board seems to be promising that it will not let the exams get delayed and will conduct by following the necessary precautions and protocols of COVID-19.

Sanyam Bhardwaj, CBSE’s Controller of Examination, clearly mentioned in an interview that this time the board has no plans in delaying the board exams of 2021. He mentioned that “Students got enough gap between their two consecutive exams during the preparation of datasheet in 2019. In different cases, if some exams were scheduled one after the other, then it was made sure that the subsequent exam was easy”.

After explaining how the board successfully conducted the CBSE Class 10th and 12th compartment exams in September, Sanyam Bhardwaj told “CBSE successfully completed the compartment exams amid the pandemic and after learning from that we will conduct board exams in 2021 in offline mode. There are no such plans and reasons to delay the exams and it will be held in February-March as usual.”

According to Mr. Bhardwaj, schools will now get more time to conduct practical examinations. He further added, “Now, schools may get more than two months to conduct practical exams and complete formalities instead of one-and-a-half months, if they promise to follow the COVID-19 guidelines obediently”.

He also said that the board is in touch with several stakeholders and planning a strategy so that the board exams can be conducted smoothly in 2021.
