Why You Shouldn't Keep Your Smartphone Under Your Pillow While Sleeping? Here are the Hidden Risks

Smartphone is always with the users in the hustle and bustle of the day, there are many people. Who keep the smartphone with them even while sleeping at night? They believe that if a call comes at night, then they will not have to get up and go to the table to pick it up and their sleep will not be disturbed.

Why You Shouldn't Keep Your Smartphone Under Your Pillow While Sleeping? Here are the Hidden Risks

But mobile users do not know that there are many risks of keeping mobile near them at night or sleeping with the phone under the pillow. If you want to avoid these risks, then you should keep the smartphone 3 to 4 feet away while sleeping. Let’s see what is the harm of keeping the phone with you?

    1- Interruption in sleep

Interruption in sleep is a common issue that many people face, and one major risk is blue light emitted by smartphones. The blue light of the smartphone can disrupt the production of melatonin, which reduces the quality of sleep. Apart from this, notifications and alerts of the phone can also disturb sleep.

    2- Risk of fire

Keeping the smartphone under the pillow can cause heat to accumulate, which can heat up the phone and increase the risk of fire. Along with this, the vibration of the phone notification can wake you up and also cause mental distance.

    4- Health problems

Being close to the smartphone for a long time can cause problems like eye irritation, headache, and ear pain. Keeping the smartphone away at night not only improves your sleep but also has a positive effect on your health. Therefore, it would be good to keep it away from your bed for better sleep and health.
