Anil Kapoor and Anupam Kher, the two legends of Bollywood, got together to watch SS Rajamouli’s RRR on Monday. They also promoted Anil Kapoor’s upcoming film Thar which also stars Harshvardhan Kapoor.
The duo had uncanny chemistry that dates back to the 1990s. Together they starred in loads of successful Bollywood movies that broke many records.
Kapoor and Kher sat together and discussed a few interesting things before the movie began. They talked about how it’s been years since they watched a film together.
Anil Kapoor went as far as to say that it feels like a movie date to him, but Anupam Kher thought otherwise. He shrugged off the idea.
Both Anil Kapoor and Anupam Kher shared the video of their chat on their Instagram accounts and mentioned a few things in the caption.
Kher, while sharing the video on his Insta handle, wrote, “Went to the theatre after many, many years with my dearest friend @anilskapoor to watch @ssrajamouli #RRR. This hilarious conversation is before the film. Have fun & Enjoy.”
Anil Kapoor shared the same video on his Insta Handle and wrote, “Movie Date after a very long time with my friend The Anupam Kher! Watched the amazing #RRR and got some good wishes for #Thar & #JugJuggJeeyo from the 300cr club member himself!”

The duo watched Rajamouli’s blockbuster epic action drama, RRR, which stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR. Both of them praised the film but did not shy away from promoting their movies in the process.
The video begins with Anil Kapoor saying, “We both have come to see a film, after many many years.” Anupam then recalled that they used to come for their movie premiers back in the day and it feels like almost a thousand years since they have watched a film together.
Anil then went on to say, “Yes, you know I am feeling as if I am in St Xavier’s college, and that I am going out for a date.” Anupam wasn’t impressed with Anil and said, “I would not like to say that.”
Later on, Anupam made references to Anil’s upcoming films Thar and Jug Jug Jeeyo. Thar stars Anil Kapoor with his son Harshvardhan Kapoor and will release on Netflix on 6th May 2022.
On the other hand, Jug Jug Jeeyo will have a theatrical release, and it stars Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani in prominent roles.
