Thank God Trailer: Ajay Devgn is Here as Chitragupt to Play The Game of Life

Thank God the trailer just dropped on YouTube, and it’s going viral for the hilarity and humour it brings. Ajay Devgn, as a modern-day Chitragput, is something we have not imagined that we would get to see on the big screen.

The trailer makes Thank God look like a promising comedy movie that one can watch with their entire family. The film gives the vibe of original Bollywood comedies of the 2000s, which did not include vulgarity and double meaning jokes to produce the comic effect.

The simplistic comedy fits right with the movie’s theme. Thank God trailer confirms that Sidharth Malhotra is playing a sinful conceited man whose life hangs in the balance when his car crashes into someone else’s four-wheeler.

Sidharth then awakes in the Yamlok, where the new-age Chitragupt, played by Ajay Devgn, is present in his classy suit and a beard that you just can’t miss. Chitragupt then goes on to explain the whole scenario and brings in motion a game of life to decide whether Sidharth’s character will get a second chance or not.

The Thank God trailer is fun and engaging. Rakul Preet Singh also shines in what little has been shown for her. One can expect another banger of an item number from Nora Fatehi, who is also a part of this film. Thank God will be released in the theatres in India on the festival of Diwali on 25th October 2022.

The movie is directed by Indra Kumar and produced under the banner of T-Series. Tanishk Bagchi, Rochak Kohli, Anand Raaj Anand and Chamath Sangeeth have worked on the music for Thank God. It’s written by Aakash Kaushik and Madhur Sharma.
